Jarand Hindenes graduated from Medical School in Bergen, Norway in 1996 and became a specialist in Occupational Medicine in 2008. He has worked with Occupational Medicine for more than 27 years, the last 15 years mainly within the offshore and maritime industry serving as medical advisor for offshore operators and drilling contractors as well as maritime and remote operations both in Norway and globally. In addition to his responsibilities as Regional Medical Director for Norway and Denmark (International SOS), Jarand serves as board chairman of the Norwegian Association of Occupation Medicine and chairman of the IADC Health sub-committee.
