Sam Byrne is Equinor’s Vice President of Operations for renewables in the Americas. Prior to joining Equinor, Sam was the VP and Head of the Service Business Division for Asia Pacific. He has worked in a number of management roles at Vestas in Denmark focused on Corporate Strategy, Business Development, and Operations. Before that, Sam worked for McKinsey & Co. in the United States, where he consulted on engagements in a number of industrial sectors. Sam holds a Master’s in International Economics and International Relations from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor’s in Economics from Yale University.
