Laura works in BlueFloat Energy as Senior Project Development Manager – Europe –, supporting the European project development and operations. BlueFloat Energy is a nimble and fast-growing offshore wind developer, one of the market leaders in the floating offshore wind industry, with a pipeline of more than 34 GW under development in multiple geographies. Laura ensures project management of the on-going activities and supports the local teams, specifically in Italy and Portugal. She oversees the development of the projects, including the implementation of the technical and environmental studies, permitting processes, securing route to market, engagement with local stakeholders and supply chain. She is also responsible for identifying new business opportunities in European markets and designing strategies for unlocking these opportunities. Prior to joining BlueFloat Energy, Laura worked over 8 years as a renewable energy advisor at DNV and SgurrEnergy.
