Haakon joined Equinor in 2019 and is currently working as a Commercial Lead for floating offshore wind development in Norway. During his time in Equinor, he’s been working in both technical and commercial positions with several renewable and offshore wind markets such as US East coast, UK and currently Norway. Equinor’s ambition is to become the leading industrial offshore wind player in Norway and Haakon supports this through his engagement in Equinor’s & Vårgrønn’s partnership on Utsira Nord. Additionally, he works on shaping Equinor’s strategy for future portfolio development of Renewables in Norway. Haakon holds an M.Sc. in Mechanical engineering from NTNU, Trondheim.
